" What is important to me is that I have helped to make a difference in the lives of others in my service to the community. I take full advantage of each opportunity I am given to include the residents of the city in the planning process from the traffic issues in our ward to the proposed programs for the youth and seniors.  I believe that residents should be heard!

I am asking voters to consider my community connection and compare who truly has the community's interest in mind before they cast that very important vote on election day.

2004 School 4 PTA 's local unit awarded me with NJ PTA Life Membership.

2005 Started an annual Santa visit in the 5th ward for children

2005 Working with law enforcement and community members

for Residents Opposed to Crime - Block Watch.

2009 Worked with elected officials for Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 signs

2011 Recognized by NJ State Senate Citation for Community Service

2012 Recognized by Linden Historical Society- The first woman of color elected to Linden's city council.

2012 Established the city's annual Black History program.

2014 Campaigned for Linden After 3 - Youth Enrichment Program

(Grant awarded for $250,000. with our partner Afterschool All-Stars)

2015 City Employee of the year nomination for white/Blue collar staff

2015 Established- Rhashonna Cosby Civic Association -

Volunteers providing community services, education, and partnership.

2015 Certified Team Leader- NJ Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs

2016 Recognized by the City of Linden for initiating Cancer Awareness Walk Campaign through the Civic Association

2016 Recognized by First Lady Michele Obama for 3 years
